For this shoot i had to use a different lighting setup as the cord i use to trigger my flash wasn't working. I used only one light on constant and a wide aperture of f1.8. I actually like the outcome of these better as i feel the depth of field works much better and makes the eyes much more prominent, creating a feeling of a stronger connection. I do feel how ever that this set up would not have been successful on the other shoots as most dogs were moving around a lot and lily was a very calm dog.
